Three items due today, all of them today-or-not-at-all. Nothing else is due for the rest of the week — clear this and the board is genuinely empty.

The 09:00 window

You did this exact drill on Friday for the outbound leg, so the mechanics are known. Two things that differ today:

  • This is the return leg — it could not be booked alongside the 7 Sep booking, because the window is per travel date.
  • If 9 Sep turns out to be a non-operation day for the Yufuin no Mori, a Yufu runs the identical 12:01 timetable. Same timings, less scenic — take it rather than lose the slot.

Booking hours 05:30–23:00 JST. Technically bookable until 6 minutes before departure, but that is a fallback, not a plan.

One thing worth saying

The finance chain has been on Today since 23 Jul — seventeen days of being looked at and stepped over. It is not a hard task; it is a task that has been made heavy by rescheduling. Today it has a deadline attached and no competition after 09:15. If it doesn't go today, the honest move is to stop putting it on Today and give it a real date.
